February 19, 2024

President’s Day

May 1-3, 2024

National Day (overseas orders only)

November 28-29, 2024

Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving

December 24-25

Christmas Eve, Christmas

Non-production days (those listed above) will not count towards the lead time of any orders. For example, an order with a 1-day lead time placed before 3 pm on Friday, August 30, 2024, will not ship until Tuesday, September 3, after the Labor Day Weekend.

Here are a few quick tips to avoid getting caught with delays due to non-production days:

  • Staying aware of upcoming holidays is your first line of defense. By factoring these holidays into your production schedule, you can account for the lost time or avoid it entirely by ordering before non-production days. This is especially important for long holidays such as the Chinese New Year.

  • If an overseas holiday is blocking you from receiving your parts by your deadline, you can re-configure your quote to be produced by our domestic network.

  • Fictiv's quoting platform typically offers multiple production speeds for a part. Try selecting a faster lead time that avoids non-production days.

  • Depending on your part's geometry, there may be small design changes you can make that will result in a faster lead time. Chat with us or email us at help@fictiv.com for assistance evaluating these changes.
